With the first Root Ball in 2008, Greenscape and Late Bloomers Garden Club introduced a fun way for the community to participate in an event that supports the missions of both organizations. Great parties for great causes.
With lingering concerns of Covid 19 and the potential for community spread, the decision has been made to call off the in-person event this year. It is our sincere desire that we practice the ultimate social distancing by staging the No Ball Root Ball 2021.
We feel strongly that canceling is the right thing to do in these uncertain times. Although the No Ball Root Ball will be an absentee event in 2021 your involvement is still needed as this is our primary fundraising effort each year. The work of Greenscape, which benefits your local tree canopy, continues even during a pandemic and we ask that you thoughtfully consider a donation to this year’s non-event. Your gift will substantially impact our work and ultimately the quality of life for future generations.
