About the Role
The Urban Forestry Technician plays a key role in caring for Jacksonville’s growing tree canopy. Under the direction of the Executive Director, this position is responsible for the establishment, maintenance, and stewardship of newly planted and existing trees throughout Northeast Florida. This hands-on position focuses on watering, mulching, weeding, light pruning, tree monitoring, and general tree care. The Urban Forestry Technician also assists with community tree plantings, volunteer events, and other programs that support Greenscape’s mission.
