Greenscape’s largest fundraiser of the year, the Root Ball, was sold out and earned record profits. The 18th annual gala was a Kentucky Derby themed cocktail party and buffet under the graceful Live Oaks at the Garden Club of Jacksonville, co-chaired by Sally Lee and Erica Paul. Funds raised at the Root Ball support Greenscape’s tree care program, which provides watering, mulching and fertilizing trees planted in parks and schools by Greenscape volunteers.
Corporate sponsors included Chase Bank, Trailer Bridge, Big Tree Arborists, Brick & Beam, Liberty Landscape Supply, Inc., and Mittaur & Associates.
